Different and Fun

I played a few levels and enjoyed them, although the first one I played seemed to end with the crash message even though the ship did not seem to be touching anything. I could be mistaken, but that might have been a bug. Also, you might want to check your dollar amount code; there were a lot of decimal places in at least one of those dollar amounts.

Nice work!

I liked the power-ups. It might be nice to see the paddles smooth instead of jaggy.

Unplayable

The intro introductory sequence looked nice, but it is late and I want to sleep soon, so I clicked on the link to skip it, after which a new screen appeared then slid mostly out of the viewport. From that point on, there seems to be no game in your game; the only thing it would do is show me the controls, which are not useful without a game in which to use them. I tried twice with the same results.

Pretty Nice

That was pretty well done. Little details can really help a game; I was pleased to find the 1-up near the beginning of the first level.

I recommend using the up arrow or the spacebar rather than D for jumping; the A-S-D cluster does not feel quite right. Also, it would be nice to be able to jump down a level, perhaps by pressing the jump button while holding down. Finally, the constant logos in the corner detract a bit from the atmosphere of the game; I recommend leaving those on your other screens rather than your in-game screens unless you are submitting the game as a demo to a potential client.

A Neat Game with Potential

That was kind of cool. I hope you keep working on it or make a sequel with a bit more to it.

i wasn't planning on making a sequel but seeing as so many people have asked for one i will make one with more features graphix and music and lose the anoying heartbeat sound that everyone hates

Short and Sweet

That was great! It was silly and charming and it is going in my favorites list.

It seems okay, but I seem to have gotten stuck.

The in-game instructions said to press "A" with the meter at 1/4 or greater to dash, but I could not get it to work; I could only do the special attack with "A" when the meter was full, not the dash at any level. The text also mentioned needing to be at level 2 status, but I did not see any indicator for that nor in-game instructions for achieving it, so I just pressed "Q" to proceed with the game; unfortunately, the game said I could not continue without defeating all of the enemies in the area, but I did not seem to be able to make any progress with the dash thing holding me up, so I just quit. What did I miss?

Nice work!

Your file size is impressive. You could probably add some nice color effects and improve the controls (I would prefer button-pressing to mouse button-clicking) and still come in under 2K.

It might be okay.

Violence for the sake of violence isn't really my thing (I do play some violent video games, but with more to them than running people over), so don't take it too hard if the numbers I gave you aren't what you were expecting. I mainly just wanted to suggest fixing your reverse turning controls; they are backwards, moving left instead of right and right instead of left. As someone who drives and parallel parks a vehicle every day, it feels counterintuitive for a vehicle away from the direction of steering.

Good luck with your game. I hope you work in a story to justify--or at least explain--why the player is running everyone over.

A Great Start

I love tactical combat games. This is a great start. You should add the ability to save games, maybe add some music, and whatever you do, keep working on it.

Mathematics is your friend. Well, maybe not yours per se, but it is my friend anyway.
