Why did you post an old version?

I do not care for that music loop, but I bet a lot of people would like to see your newer version with multiple cars, two tracks, and fixed controls (the car in this version still turns against the side controls when driving backwards). Why did you post an old version?

Good Potential

Your game definitely has some potential. The artwork is nice. I hope you keep working on it.

Too Many Deaths

The player can hardly inspect anything without getting killed; that is too much. Also, the game is essentially a few bits of trial and error weaved together. I would like to see a longer game with more to do.

Yeah.. You couldn't be more correct. I'm gonna start work on Murder Mansion Revisited tomorrow.. It should be a heck of a lot better then this version of the game..

Shows Potential

You have a lot of work to do--fixing negative HP, for example--but your game has potential. I look forward to seeing another version.

A Good Start for a Battle System

Your battle system is off to a good start, but it would be nice to seem some of the RP you are putting into your RPG. Why did it say I failed when I defeated the enemy?

Not Enough Game In This Game

This game might be better with more game in it and fewer long, tedious conversations. Editing your text to more closely resemble adult English and implementing some way for players to skip the conversations--or at least to use a key such as the spacebar to dismiss each text bubble more quickly--would be good ways to improve things.

Nice

These keep getting better. There is a nasty bug in the Venetian, though. If you exit then reenter, the up arrow reappears to go to the bonus area, but it does not work and you cannot exit to the right. Thus, I did not play to the end since your bug fixes, but when I did, I was surprised that the screen did not change at the end.

Very nice work, but there are some bugs.

There was no button to press when Condoleeza Rice appeared and clicking on her text did not seem to have any effect, so I pressed the space bar to see what that would do and it sent me back to the level selection screen with Bush and Rice in front of it. Then I reentered the hall level and there were two Bushes: one behind a table and one behind a podium.

Also, much like how almost everyone who makes tank games gets the controls wrong, almost everyone who makes custom cursors gets it wrong and that is the case here. If the user right-clicks, the default mouse cursor reappears over yours. You should rehide it.

Finally, the controls took some getting used to; I would prefer if standing and ducking--or otherwise hiding behind an object--were more consistent. For example, always hide unless I press the spacebar to come out into the open, like in some arcade shooting games.

Aside from that, very nice work.

Nice work!

I jumped near a tunnel, went through a wall, and got stuck with a ramp to the ceiling on the left and a loop I could not enter on the right. Also, I recommend making some kind of indicator for the currently selected character on the character selection screen to let players know which character is currently selected. A background bar, an outline, an arrow, or a color change perhaps?

Aside from that, you have done some very nice work. You should polish it up a little bit then submit it to Sega; maybe you can get a job doing Web stuff for them.

Very Silly

I am not a big fan of barfing, but your game did make me laugh. Nice work.

Mathematics is your friend. Well, maybe not yours per se, but it is my friend anyway.
